The modal and the launcher

Summon issues from any app with ⌘⇧L, and fly through them with the ⌘K quick launcher.

The global modal: ⌘⇧L

Press ⌘⇧L in any application and TimeToBuild’s modal appears over your work. Arrow keys move through issues, Return opens the selected issue in Linear, and Escape puts the modal away. Your hands never leave the keyboard.

The quick launcher: ⌘K

Inside the app, ⌘K opens the quick launcher: type to fuzzy-search across your issues, or jump between views with number keys.

  • Type a few characters to search; the best eight matches appear instantly.
  • Number keys switch filters: My Issues, Unassigned, Inbox and more.
  • Start typing a new title to create an issue without leaving the launcher.

Menubar popover

The menubar icon opens a resizable popover with the same issue list, sorted by status and priority. Drag the edges to size it to your screen; it remembers.
