Refund Policy
Last updated: 29 September 2026
We want TimeToBuild to genuinely earn its place in your menubar. If it doesn't work out, here's how refunds and cancellations work. TimeToBuild is provided by DeskB Ltd (Hong Kong), which sells the subscription. Payments are processed by Stripe, and any refunds go back to your original payment method.
Try before you buy
Every install starts with a 14-day free trial of the complete app, so you can make sure it fits before paying anything. No card is needed for the trial: you only pay when you choose to buy a licence.
14-day money-back guarantee
If you're not satisfied, you can request a full refund of your first payment within 14 days of making it. Just email hey@timetobuild.app from the address you bought with, and we'll arrange it. No need to explain yourself, though feedback is always welcome so we can improve.
Cancelling a subscription
You can cancel your subscription at any time by signing in at app.timetobuild.app and choosing Manage billing, or by emailing us. When you cancel, you won't be charged again, and your licence stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for. We don't charge cancellation fees.
Renewal payments are not refundable, except where required by law. To avoid a renewal charge, cancel before your renewal date. If something went wrong, get in touch. We'll always try to do the right thing.
Your statutory rights
If you're a consumer in the EU or UK, you may have a statutory right of withdrawal for digital purchases. These rights are in addition to the guarantee above and are not affected by it.
AI provider costs
TimeToBuild uses your own AI provider account and API keys. Any charges from your AI provider (such as Anthropic or OpenAI) are billed directly by them and are outside our control, so we can't refund those.
How to request a refund
Email hey@timetobuild.app with the email address used for the purchase. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method, usually within 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank. A refunded licence stops working once the refund is issued.
