Trials, licenses, and activation

How the 14-day trial works, where your license key comes from, and how to activate on up to 3 Macs.

The trial

Every install starts a 14-day free trial with the complete app; there is no cut-down version. The countdown is visible in Settings. When the trial ends, the app asks for a license key.

Buying and activating

    Choose a plan

    Monthly ($6/month) or annual ($60/year, two months free). Checkout is a secure Stripe payment page.

    Find your key

    Your license key arrives by email from hey@timetobuild.app a minute or two after checkout. It is also shown on your dashboard at app.timetobuild.app.

    Activate

    In the app, open Settings, choose License, and paste the key. Activation is instant with an internet connection.

Devices and offline use

  • One license activates up to 3 Macs. Deactivate a machine from Settings to free a slot.
  • The app revalidates your license periodically and tolerates being offline for a grace period, so a flaky connection never locks you out mid-sprint.
  • If your subscription lapses, the app returns to trial-expired behavior until the key is valid again.

Managing your subscription

Card updates, plan switches, invoices, and cancellation all live behind Manage billing on your dashboard at app.timetobuild.app. Cancelling keeps the app active until the end of the period you paid for. See the account page for common questions.
