The inbox

The inbox gathers your Linear notifications in one feed and tracks what you have actually read in three tiers: unread, partially read, and fully read. Read state syncs across sections, so a thread you cleared in one view never nags you in another.

  • Issues with recent activity surface automatically, even without a notification.
  • Right-click any item to hide the issue from your inbox.
  • The menubar badge counts what is genuinely unread.

AI summaries

With an AI provider connected, each issue gets a one-line summary of its activity thread plus a list of pending action items, generated in the background and refreshed when the issue’s status or activity changes. Opening an issue always generates a fresh summary on demand.
